    Hello,

I must say that I’m really impressed with these study plans you make. Actually my main issue with studying is making and sticking to this kind of study plans.

Could you give me some hint points to make them? How do you prepare them?

I just found your website and I really like it, although I’m not working on CCNP R&S there are tons of great information.

I guess you also keep the blog to keep your studies updated and to keep with your objectives.

I’ll think about it too, although I guess I should write it in English and Spanish :D

        Hey!!

        Thanks for the prompt reply.

First of all, I’ve got a suggestion. as you ask for email address when posting a comment, it would be very helpful to receive an email saying that there are new comments on the post or that somebody has made a reply to one of your comments.

I’m saying this because now I don’t remember which were the posts where I commented and need to dig to find them again to see if there are new comments.

After saying that, let’s get to the point we were talking about.

I also use Evernote. One of the uses I give it is to take notes when studying for my certifications. That way I can take a look at my notes everywhere :D

My situation is very different than yours. I cannot afford 3 hours a day studying. First of all because I get home after work between 6 and 7pm. That’s a huge difference. Here in Spain we have one of the largest working hours and one of the worst salaries in the EU.

After that, I live with my girlfriend and we’re expecting a child, so if I take 2 hours a day for 4 days a week, that would leave with no time to be with my girlfriend.

That’s the most important point were I haven’t been able to figure out how to schedule my study time. I try to at least read every day, I go late to bed or anything needed, but it’s not a routine.

I’ll have to talk to her and see if at least I can manage to take 2 days a week 2 hours and then some time for myself during weekends.

I know you probably won’t be able to give me an advice on my situation, but it’s good to see how you schedule your studying. I might say something like Monday: reading Ch1, wednesday: watching TBA on that chapter and weekend Lab about those topics.

That would take me a little longer, but, as I’m working with ASAs, routers and switches everyday (not full time though), I think (at least CCNA) shouldn’t be too hard for me.

I’ll let you know how it goes ;)

I used to have that time, but not at the moment. I have to at least try to do it slowly and find about 8 hours a week. It’ll take more time to get it done, but as the company I work for is not willing to give me Firewall nor VPN courses (they said I already know enough and not need any course on thaose topics xDD), I’ll have to find my own way at my own pace.

I’ll let you know, I’m sure we’ll keep talking ;)

By the way, thanks for the plugin. Now I can check it to receive email updates ;)
